Beautiful avatars and friends

Allira Wade, a beautiful friend who introduced her favourite male roleplay partner to me. Beautiful in how she treat friends, and beautiful on the outside with a very cool dress sense. Seen here in suspender camos.

Designer house

Introducing my friend Ubik's house, a three level mansion in a villa with adjoining guest house. One of the best interior decorators I am sure, in SL. He doesn't even do it for a living.

The kitchen and dining area on the ground floor.

Full length windows, warm interior decor lighting and shadows create a rich ambience. Here shown the corridor leading from dining area to living room. Stairs on left go up to the drawing room and bedrooms.

Upstairs, this is the drawing room which you enter from the staircase. Black couches on one side and a bar on the other side are perfect for entertaining guests.

The master bedroom has a vanity mirror for the lady (or ladies!)

The bathroom is luxurious.

The study. Simple yet tastefully decorated as always.

I am not sure what is the proper name for this room. It has a modesty screen if you want to change to more relaxing clothes, and a quaint bed for taking a siesta. A small easel workspace for capturing inspiration.

This is the bridge that connects the main building to the guest house. You can admire the exterior landscaping while taking a short walk across. More on landscaping below.

Enjoying a view of the swimming pool from the deck chair. Too bad I didn't bring my bikini that day. People standing in the kitchen and dining area can also see through the glass to the poolside.

NCI Kuula

Some weird going-ons when I build at the sandbox at New Citizens Inc.

NCI is one of the places where newbies or "noobs" in Second Life arrive at after Orientation Island. There are many helpers at NCI who help answer their questions, not to mention freebies.

Here I am fighting with a giant anemone. Not really. Was just posing with a strange avatar that some had put on.

One day there was a giant marshmallow man who dropped by. Wearing a sailor costume to boot.

It is a very large avatar, the largest that the guy (Tess) could find in SL he said. Look at how small my av is in the pic, hovering above his right shoulder. I could fit into his mouth.

My sister Brigid

My sister Brigid. I hadn't seen her for a few months and when I saw her again, she had become more grown up and beautiful =)

It allows you to easily access the SL facial expressions with touch buttons on your screen. This is Brige in an angry mood. Frowning sternly but not mad.

I was really happy the other day when I was checking on the sales of my advanced edition face emoter HUD (which has more functions like a scene rezzer, avatar scanner with spy cam that can position your cam on avatars on your radar with a click). I had just launched it, and it was my second sale. It happened that Kate Linden was searching for "smile and wink expression" and she came upon my product on xstreetsl. Glad she seemed to like it. Is the first time a Linden employee bought something I made.

Pyper's wedding reception

I attended my friend Pyper Dollinger's wedding reception and rehearsal recently.

This is Pyper in her lovely gown, welcoming guests.

There was a masquerade ball.

I was wearing a mask of my own, which eerily resembled the mask worn by a lady in a picture hanging on the wall of the ballroom.

Nice architecture in the building where the ball was held. If you zoom in you can see tiny me on the balcony in the centre of the photo. On the other side of the green is the church.

Silly me, I overslept for the actual wedding and missed it, but luckily there are some official photos that Pyper has shared with me. But I like the spontaneous pictures I took better, rather than posed ones :p

Feature on RUSTI Bar

And this is someone I met at Steff Ling's RUSTi Bar on Happy Clam Island. Her name is Best Emor. She likes to dance on the island. They have regular events called Organica. I like her flower and butterfly look, and the "just woke up from bed" hair. See that's her boyfriend's pic on the garland on her breast.

Best relaxing at the RUSTi Bar.

It is a nice place to sit down and relax to have a chat with friends. The ambience is more like a tea-house rather than a bar.

My friend Steff is very talented. She made that giant tree in the middle of the island. Look carefully at what the leaves are made of. Yes, shadow figures of people!

The bright multi coloured part of the island is where Organica dance events are held. What is Organica? I asked someone dancing. He said it is a place of music, dance and love. Another person said, it is the home of candy. "A place where da best dj's and djanes spins live." So there you have it. Happy Clam Island.
